If you cannot find a day/time that works for you & would like to request an appointment outside of our normal business hours, please email us at hello@lovergirlbridal.com & we will do our best to accommodate your request

Do I need an appointment?

Yes, in order to provide a customized experience for each bride, we do require all brides to book an appointment whether you’re trying on gowns or just browsing our accessories. We allow 1.5 hours and exclusive access to our entire showroom for you & your crew!

we do not accept walk-ins, but if you would like to see if we are available for a same day appointment, you can call us at 314-312-1557.

What happens after I schedule an appointment?

you’ll receive a confirmation email where we ask you to fill out a few more details about your wedding. we will look that over & reach out to you the week of your appointment to set up a quick phone call so that we can discuss those details and answer any questions you might have prior to your appointment. we want to customize your appointment to you & your needs, so the more information we have, the better!

How many people can I bring with me to my appointment?

We are a small boutique which fosters more intimate experiences. We provide seating for five in addition to the bride-to-be. Bringing the entourage? We are happy to move things around if we need a little extra.

Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?

No, But we do have a few recommendations for a more seamless try-on experience:

while many brides try on our gowns barefoot or in socks, you are more than welcome to bring a pair of heels with you especially if you plan to wear heels on your wedding day.

nude undergarments work best while trying on weddings gowns in order to blend in with your skin & not detract from the white/ivory of the gown.

Often times it is easiest to go bra-less while trying on wedding gowns, but you are more than welcome to leave your bra on! Another option is opting to wear nipples covers or a “sticky” bra.

How far in advance should I begin dress shopping?

when it comes to shopping for one of the most important dresses you’ll ever purchase, it’s really never too early to begin! with all of our dress designers offering rush shipping options, we can work with many tight timelines, but if you do have the time, We recommend beginning your search as early as possible in order to ensure that you can relax & enjoy the process.

beginning your search 9-12 months before your wedding date will allow you ample time! We recommend purchasing 7-9 months before your wedding date which will allow time for the production of your gown (4-5 months), alterations (1-2 months), & of course extra time just to be safe!

How long does it take to receive my gown once it’s been ordered?

Standard timing for gown production is 4-5 months. If you need something sooner - don’t fret, each designer does provide rush options. Please note, fees associated with rush timing vary by designer.

Will I need alterations & are they offered in-house?

Brides will almost always need alterations in order for your wedding gown to fit your body like a glove. Once you purchase a gown, we will take your measurements, compare those to the specific designer’s size chart & order a size that is closest to your measurements. If you are in-between sizes, we will recommend that you order a larger size as it is always easier to take a gown in, than to let it out. Don’t worry – all of this will be discussed in detail at your appointment. We do not offer in-store alterations, however we will provide recommendations for great, local seamstresses.

What is the price range of your gowns?

All of our made-to-order gowns range from $1,800-$3,000.

What size gowns are available to try on?

Our sample gowns range from size 8 to 14, If you’re outside of this size range, we have creative ways of pinning the dresses so you can get an idea of your fit and size. However, we can order gowns for brides size 0 to 30. If you have any questions regarding sizing before your appointment, please do not hesitate to reach out.

What does made-to-order mean?

Made-to-order means that your wedding gown is built for you, and will be made the moment we place your order. Our designers do not hold ample inventory. Your measurements will be taken at the shop, matched to each designers’ recommendations, and sent off to construct the closest size to your measurements. Please note that the gown is not made to your specific measurements, that process is known as “made-to-measure” and we don’t currently carry any designers that fall into that category. To get that perfect fit, your dress may need some final tweaks to form fit your body.

What else can I find at your store?

We offer a wide variety of accessories that can not only be worn on your big day, but to the big events leading up to it as well! We carry earrings, hair accessories, veils, belts, (& even the cutest denim jackets and luxurious robes!)

What is a trunk show?

A trunk show is a specific amount of time that one of our dress designers has sent us additional styles that we don’t normally have in the store. It is often accompanied by a small discount. If you know you love a particular designer, keep your eye open for their trunk show dates and make sure you book your appointment early to reserve your place! Updates are available through our news
